New Motor Rules as from 1st March 2012
Motors and batteries have developed in power dramatically over the last year and
as such speeds on a relatively small track have increased to a level not thought possible
a few years ago. In an attempt to bring racing back to a more even level and rely on
driver skill not just speed it has been decided to reduce the motor limit from
13.5 Brushless to 21.5 Brushless. This I hope will result in more competative racing.

We welcome all drivers, but if you intend to race for the first time you
must be registered with us prior to the meeting, a registration form
may be downloaded (see bottom of this page) and sent to the shop.
Due to time and the number of racers we may not be able to fit you in if
you just turn up on the night as the start time cannot be delayed.

Model Junction Racing runs Model Car Race Meetings throughout the year
for mainly 1/10th scale electric radio control cars. We race inside on carpet.
Racing is open to everyone of all ages and abilities, there is no joining fee
just pay as you race.
All race timing is done using the AMBrc transponder counting system.
This system allows drivers to have their own unique personal transponder
permanently fitted in the car. For drivers without their own transponder,
rechargeable transponders are provided for each race.
