NEW RACE VENUE FOR INDOOR MEETINGS
Racing has now started at Moreton Hall Community centre for the
Winter Wednesdays. We have a much larger track area 17 mtrs x 10 mtrs
and is proving to be very popular with the drivers. Meetings are most
Wednesdays but please see race calendar for race dates.

Model Junction Racing runs Model Car Race Meetings throughout the year
for mainly 1/10th scale electric radio control cars. We race inside on carpet
and outside on tarmac. Racing is open to everyone of all ages and abilities,
there is no joining fee just pay as you race.
All race timing is done using the AMBrc transponder counting system.
This system allows drivers to have their own unique personal transponder
permanently fitted in the car. For drivers without their own transponder, rechargeable transponders are provided for each race.

Summer Racing

SUNDAY RACING 2008
The Sunday racing started outside on tarmac in April at Westley Middle School
Bury St Edmunds. Sunday racing has now been cancelled at Westley (due to lack of drivers). Should there be sufficient interest we may try running some inside meetings
on Sunday and restart outside in summer 2009, please check the calendar.
Apologies to those of you that have consistently supported these Sunday
meetings but despite mostly good weather numbers have been very low
throughout the year and not enough to make for an interesting meeting.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT RACING 2008
Racing on Wednesdays is now inside on carpet at Morerton Hall.
Racing will be most Wednesdays through the Summmer on tarmac until
September when racing returns inside to the carpet at Moreton Hall.
We race 1/10th touring cars and a Mixed Class of smaller cars
usually 1/14th Recoils and Minis chassis.

All drivers of any ability or age are welcome to or meetings,
please come and spectate or give it a try.
Please note under 16's must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

starts 7.00pm inside please book in by 6.45pm,
summer outside starts 6.30pm book in by 6.15pm.

a race slot will be reserved for you.

RACING SUNDAYS AT 10 am
Trophy meetings on Sundays
do not require pre booking, entry and qualifying on the day,
just turn up and race, except Special Race
Meetings for which entry forms will be available.
