These two locos ran double headed between Manchester
and Carlisle on the morning of 11th August 1968 which
marked the end of steam hauled passenger services
on British Railways

R2688 A4 "Sir Nigel Gresley" limited to 2008
a special limited edition to celebrate 70 years of Hornby an
A4 "Sir Nigel Gresley" in packaging reminiscent of the first
Hornby Dublo model as it would have been produced.

R2684 A4 "Mallard" limited to 5000
70 years ago Mallard claimed the World Speed record at
126 mph. This special loco will be made with the exterior
parts plated in 18ct gold.

R2689 "Duchess of Hamilton" limited
In collaboration with the National railway Museum this
loco celebrates the re-streamlining of this
Coronation Class loco.

R268 West Country "Bude" limited to 2008
During locomotive trials in 1948 experiments were carried out
with different combinations of loco and tenders, so we see
West Country Class "Bude" coupled to a Stanier tender undergoing
trials to allow it to operate out of its normal area.
