This is brilliant. An indoor 'helicopter' suitable for ages 10 and up. As you increase the throttle the helicopter gains altitude and moves forward slowly, the tail rotor control gives you left and right steering. Very lightweight, it will withstand a fair amount of crashing.

This is similar in flying style to the Fairy above but this time it uses 2.4ghz radio control. This means that you can fly outdoors on very calm days, you can fly up to 25 helicopters together at the same time and because of the more advanced level of control, you can fly more precise circuits in a confined space. This is very lightweight, so it will withstand a fair amount of crashing. Spare main and tail rotors are also available.

This is the same idea as the Blade CX2 but way smaller. With an overall
length of just 200 mm and weighing in at 28g this is an ultra-micro
sized helicopter. It has all the same functions you would expect from
a 4 channel model but it can be flown in much smaller spaces. Everything
you need is in the box. If you are an existing Blade owner or you have
a Spektrum aircraft radio the you can buy this model in the Bind n'
Fly format, and use your existing handset. This model is awesome. Ideal
for beginners and office workers with too much time on their hands!

The twister is a small lightweight electric powered indoor/outdoor model that comes complete ready to go straight out of the box. Every model is test flown before it is shipped. This is one of the most durable helicopters that I have flown (and crashed). Parts are cheap and easy to fit. Suitable for ages 16+. Helicopters are HARD to fly. Patience and persistance are crucial. Some experience of flying would be helpfull or the assistance of an experienced model helicopter pilot for your initial flights.
Do not attempt to fly this model in confined spaces. Also in the box are some spares a training undercarriage and an interface cable to connect the transmitter to a PC so that you can use it with flight simulator software.

The Coastguard uses the same mechanics as the Medevac Bell 47, and features MOPS, Motor Overload Protection System. Basically if you crash upside down with the rotors turning and 'stall' the motors, a resetable fuse will cut in to prevent damage to the electronics. It also features a blue LED on the top of the fuselage that will flash to warn you that the battery is running low. Also in the box are some spare main rotors and a pc interface cable so that you can connect the transmitter to a PC so that it can be used with flight simulator software.

The Blade CX2 use the same chassis is the Medevac, but features the Spektrum radio control system. This is a crystal-less system that uses the 2.4ghz wave band to transmit on. It enables you to fly upto 40 helicopters at once without risk of interferance. This is about the most stable beginners helicopter ever! Add that to great spares backup and a decent instruction manual and you are onto a winner!

As it uses 2 sets of mechanics it produces twice the rotor wash and is therefore more difficult to control when trying to fly in your living room.
